What You Will Do

As a Strategic Events Manager at Moveworks, you will manage and coordinate the planning, execution, and optimization of our global trade show strategy. This role combines strategic planning, creative execution, and meticulous attention to detail. You will be responsible for end-to-end event management, including pre-event planning, on-site management, and post-event analysis.

  • Event Strategy and Execution: Develop and execute a comprehensive event strategy that aligns with Moveworks’ business goals. Manage all aspects of tradeshows and ancillary events from conception to completion, including pre-event logistics, on-site execution, and post-event follow-up.
  • Logistics Coordination: Oversee logistics including show services, booth setup, shipping, housing, transportation, AV rentals, and event registration. Ensure flawless execution of all logistical components.
  • Promotion and Communication: Implement promotion and communication strategies for both in-person and virtual events, including email campaigns, registration pages, and collateral creation.
  • Vendor and Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with external agencies, vendors, and internal teams to ensure successful execution of events.
  • Budget Management: Maintain budgetary oversight, reconcile invoices, and track expenses to optimize resource allocation.
  • Relationship Building: Cultivate and manage relationships with conference leaders, vendors, and partners to ensure event success.
  • Post-Event Analysis: Provide post-event analysis and reports to evaluate ROI and inform future strategies. Collaborate with the sales team for lead generation follow-up.
  • Industry Trends Monitoring: Stay abreast of industry trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decision-making and enhance event impact.

What You Bring To The Table

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years managing events in the B2B space.
  • Skills: Exceptional project management, prioritization, and budget management skills. Proficient in event management software, budget tracking tools, and project management software.
  • Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse internal teams and external partners.
  • Strategic Thinking: Analytical, results-driven approach with a focus on innovative event strategies.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment with an insatiable curiosity and a growth mindset.
  • Travel: Willingness and ability to travel nationally as required for on-site event execution and organization.

Compensation Range:

$100,000 – $155,000

  • Our compensation package includes a market competitive salary, equity for all full time roles, exceptional benefits, and, for applicable roles, commissions or bonus plans.
