Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced senior event manager to join the Corporate Events and Experiences team to provide event strategy and operational support for Stripe’s flagship internal events and external user conferences. This role works closely with product marketing, design, communications, sales enablement, and other stakeholders/contributors. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker who excels in change management and can apply their understanding of the business to events in ways that deliver strong ROI and delight attendees. Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, production, and execution of our flagship internal and external events
- Plan and facilitate logistics for all events including contract negotiations, venue selection and preparation, presentation materials, security, catering, entertainment, av, transportation, equipment, decor and marketing materials
- Facilitate attendee communications and guest experience touch points including event attendee logistics and registration
- Develop and manage project plans, including documentation of strategy, process, objectives, deliverables, and timelines
- Lead cross-functional workstreams; keeping them organized, facilitating collaboration and assisting with unblocking throughout projects
- Own the day-to-day management of event operations and partnerships that support pipeline goals and event initiatives. Step in to fill holes where needed in an ever changing event landscape
- Drive new ways of thinking about events and experiences and collaborate with the brand team to ensure brand consistency, engagement and results, globally
- Think outside the box and push team members to bring innovative ideas and solutions to the greater team to keep our events dynamic and engaging

Minimum Requirements
- 10+ years of professional experience in event management of large scale user and internal conferences in real life and virtually
- Demonstrated leadership skills with strong ability to adapt to changing environments and prioritizing tasks
- Proven experience in effective communications and relationship management
- Strong background in content production and project management
- Able to work collaboratively, creatively and cross-functionally in a dynamic work environment
- Strong in developing processes and automating where possible; thinking at scale
- Superior organizational, project management, written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrate attention to detail and proven track record to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously
- Experience with managing budgets, multiple vendor contracts and relationships
- Data-driven mindset to focus on setting goals, measuring KPIs, communicating milestones along the way, and teaming with other stakeholders to showcase the outcomes of each event to stakeholders
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Communications strongly preferred
Pay and benefits
The annual US base salary range for this role is $175,500 – $247,800.
