They will be an experienced, strategic and highly creative individual who will support all activities related to Mobile B2B events and webinars. This person must be technologically adept, have exceptional project management and communication skills, comfort with logistics, and be highly collaborative. This person will be comfortable working in a matrixed organization and managing the expectations of multiple stakeholders across various levels of the organization. It is critical that they have a proven track record for managing successful face-to-face and virtual events, webinars, partner programs and related activities.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Design and dictate overall Event Strategy, informed by Sales and Product objectives.
  • Provide oversight for event management and logistics for face-to-face and virtual events, webinars and partner programs.
  • Manage team of full-time and contract B2B Events Managers.
  • Liase closely with key stakeholders in B2B Sales, Product, Marketing, PR and other functions to recommend events aligned with business strategy.
  • Manage Reporting Dashboards in support of marketing team members’ projects to measure and report on the success of their programs.
  • Create processes and procedures then documenting them for activities related to supporting events.
  • Host coordination meetings as needed, including managing the virtual meetings features such as screen sharing, recording, polling, breakout rooms, muting, etc.
  • Host prep calls with the customer and guest speakers to ensure their audio, video, Internet, etc. meet specifications and advising them on how to optimize their presentation experience.
  • Provide post-event support including, attendance reports, edit recordings, etc.
  • Build strong working relationship with other divisions (Consumer, Networks, Display, etc.) to identify areas of cooperation; collaborate on events that require presence from multiple divisions.
  • Work with internal creative teams, agencies, and platforms to deliver content.
  • Plan and manage programs, on time, on budget, to scope.


  • 12+ years of experience designing events and webinar strategy.
  • 7+ years of experience with Event Management and Webinar applications.
  • Experience working on projects across cross-functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating schedules.
  • Experience managing staff.
  • Track record of driving and piloting new ideas, measuring the impact and iterating.
  • Strong executive presence.
  • Data driven with focus on metrics.
  • Ability to manage and influence across highly cross-functional teams including sales, customer support, PR, social and marketing.
  • Experience managing projects of varying complexity; time management and project management are critical skills.
  • Ability to effectively build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Works well independently and as part of team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Adapts well to a fast-paced environment.

  • The ability to develop tasks and work assignments, based on sometime vaguely defined objectives.

Physical/Mental Demands and Working Conditions:

  • The position requires the ability to perform the essential duties and responsibilities in the following environment:
  • Work is generally performed in an office environment.
  • Operate a computer keyboard and view a video display terminal 50% of work time, including prolonged periods of time.
  • The movement and transportation of equipment, most of the time under 25 pounds.
  • Performs work under time schedules and stresses which are normally periodic or cyclical, including time sensitive job stress, fatigue, unpaid over-time, intellectual challenge, constant technical data feedback, language barriers, and business management stress.
  • Machines, tools, equipment, and work aids representative and commonly associated with PCs, printers, and office work areas.
  • Frequently works additional hours beyond normal schedule.
  • Under very little direct supervision with a high level of responsibility to apply general policies and guidelines where decisions are seldom monitored and consequences of decisions adversely affect operating results and management decisions. Complete access to confidential company data where disclosure may jeopardize the company’s competitive position.
