The Atlassian Event Marketing team drives customer engagement with the Atlassian brand and its portfolio of products. The team coordinates with sales, marketing, product, operations and executive management departments to deliver Atlassian’s biggest proprietary events, including internal Atlassian programs. Atlassian is looking for a motivated, no-bullshit self-starter who is creative and pragmatic with a relaxed, yet enthusiastic attitude. This role would be accountable for management and execution of Global Atlassian internal events, including, but not limited to twice yearly Sales Kick Offs, Developer Weeks, Atlassian off-sites for the leadership group and board members. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: stakeholder management, event specific budgets, event operations and logistics, agency and contractor point of contact. This role would work very closely with key Atlassian stakeholders to help develop and define their programs and target key results in order to produce kick-ass events.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop standard process and procedures around all internal event programs
  • Manage, access and onboard vendor, partner and contractors
  • Drive, execute and deliver 2020 and beyond internal event strategy
  • Work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to develop end-to-end programs
  • Monitor, evaluate and review the quality and effectiveness overall event operations throughout programs
  • Keep up to date with relevant technology used within the organization
  • Travel onsite to programs to ensure continuity and exceptional business partner service
  • Manage reconciliation of final bill and post-program deliverables, leading post-cons including event analysis, reports of budget, attendee feedback
  • Assist on any initiative led by the Event Marketing team, ranging from support on Summit to field marketing events, with the willingness to jump into a non-internal events project when needed

  • Strong executive presence with excellent presentation skills
  • Marketing communications experience
