Job Description:
The Events Management role implements experiential marketing policies and strategies to promote product and organizational presence in marketplaces and to drive engagement and interest in the company’s products and services. This job manages experienced experiential marketing professionals responsible for ensuring that marketing and advertising activities and events are on brand and strategically valuable to the organization.
Key Responsibilities And Duties
- Guides the implementation of experiential marketing efforts to build and sustain presence in marketing channels and to increase revenue and profitability.
- Directs promotional programs to effectively engage customers and increase sales.
- Ensures the effectiveness of experiential marketing initiatives to drive engagement and interest in the company’s products and services.
- Researches social, economic, and political trends that might have an effect on the organization, and makes recommendations to enhance the organization’s image based on those trends.
- Provides inputs on experiential and promotion programs’ compatibility with public relations and digital marketing efforts and influences others on experiential marketing policies, practices and procedures.
- Oversees and tracks event management budgets, communicates insights on the return on investment and recommends improvements to lead generation efforts.
- Manages performance of experiential marketing professionals through regular, timely feedback as well as the formal performance review process to ensure delivery of high quality experiential marketing strategies and engagement, motivation, and development of team.

Additional Responsibilities
- Supporting the logistics for management of both external and internal events and conferences across the enterprise in both the U.S. and internationally.
- This includes overseeing calendaring, tracking, resource management, asset management, shipping, registration, and overall budget
- Serves as the lead for internal events and ensures expert curation and execution of these projects
- Work closely with the Lead Planners to help ensure flawless execution of events and conferences
- Supervise a team of professional level employees and sets goals and objectives for team members to ensure the achievement of department results
- Leads team responsible for operations in support of event and conference management
- Leads workstream for internal events
- Manages event design function
- Manages build of registration sites and event communications/invites in CVENT
- Maintains and keeps current a calendar of all planned events and conferences up to 18 months out
- Works with vendors to maintain event and conference assets, including shipping and return
- Manages and tracks overall events and conferences budget
- Tactically deploy team members to support onsite experience
- Seeks out solutions and answers when information is incomplete and directions unclear
- Dynamically manages workload and priorities on a day-to-day, hour-to-hour basis to ensure all project requests are met and effectively prioritized, despite a heavy workload
- Works with high degree of urgency on tasks and is highly responsive to partner requests at all levels
- Prioritizes success metrics/KPIs and ensures all relevant data is captured and shared with measurement team
Required Qualifications
- Five plus years demonstrating experience in an operations or project management role
- Five plus years of CVENT experience
- Five plus years of vendor management experience
- Five plus years with the ability to dynamically manage multiple projects at once, including frequent unexpected requests, with efficiency, urgency, and patience
- Five plus years with the ability to collaborate with partners to foster a positive and supportive environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Workfront experience preferred
- Understanding of AV requirements
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
- Budget creation and management
- Entrepreneurial mindset
- Expectation of some travel and extended hours while on site
Travel: 50%
Base Pay Range: $141,800/yr. – $236,300/yr.
