Join our team now at Siemens Healthineers as a Senior Marketing Communications Specialist in exhibit management for our global Molecular Imaging business based in Hoffman Estates, IL., USA.
This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career. As the Key Functional Expert for our Molecular Imaging business:
- You will directly support & collaborate with the Molecular Imaging business management, marketing, and marketing communication colleagues to understand strategies, objectives, and opportunities as it pertains to their marketing, conference, and exhibition activities
- You will be responsible for support and/or project management for the following areas as it relates to their event and tradeshow needs:
- resource planning and scheduling as it pertains to exhibition activities globally
- budget forecasting and financial planning for events and tradeshows globally
- strategic development, planning, and execution of key events and tradeshows globally
- standard operating procedures including procedural and compliance guidance regarding exhibition management as it pertains to this business area
- Work with manufacturing and supply chain to ensure timely delivery of necessary equipment
- You will assimilate performance data/ metrics across key exhibitions to show the impact, value, success, and opportunities for development
- You will align with marketing communications & corporate communication colleagues on media buy activities (relevant to trade shows/ conferences) and social media planning to ensure transparency
- You will be responsible for the technical and logistics coordination of demo systems, models and displays for identified events and opportunities including shipment, installation and dismantle, maintenance and updates
- You will support on site for key or major trade shows as needed

- You have good PC skills (MS Office software like Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, and Outlook)
- You are familiar with medical diagnostic/ molecular imaging equipment
- You are familiar and comfortable with global shipping logistics
- You have experience in project management and execution
- You are familiar with logistics management and execution in events and exhibitions
- You are willing to learn about new software solutions that support our operational management
- Willingness to travel and flexibility is expected
- You have very good presentation skills and are comfortable presenting at all levels of a matrixed organization
- You are comfortable working in hybrid working environments (remote & in-office)
- You are comfortable working independently and are a self-starter
- You have an entrepreneurial spirit and are willing to present new ideas and/or tackle new challenges
Required skills to have for the success of this role
- Associates degree, Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required with 10+ years of related experience
- Molecular Imaging experience preferred
- Experience in marketing, marketing communications with established project management experience preferred
- Technical Service experience preferred
- Experience or familiarity with the exhibition industry is a plus
- Willing to travel up to 30%
