Transcarent is hiring an experienced Senior Events Marketing Manager to own Transcarent’s commercial and corporate event marketing strategy and execution. To fulfill this role you have exceptional leadership and communication skills, a deep understanding of event marketing strategy and operations, and validated experience executing best-in-class events. You are passionate about producing eye-opening and unforgettable events. You will drive the strategy, execution, and return on investment of trade shows / conferences, local field events, company conferences, and internal events nationally. You’ll work very closely with demand generation, product marketing, sales, and customer success teams.

About You

You have proven experience strategizing, developing and leading marketing events. You have delivered successful marketing events across an organization; you’re a successful cross-collaborator with a passion for tracking business metrics and adapting strategies as necessary. Finally, you have a track record in the health/tech industry, with a rich understanding of the employer benefits arena.

You Will

  • Lead the strategic planning of the annual and quarterly events calendar and budget, reporting to the Director of Communications.
  • Plan, execute, and handle all aspects of conference sponsorships, including coordination of logistics such as equipment, catering, marketing collateral, promotional giveaways, and company travel requirements
  • Work with sales leadership to develop strategy and lead execution of territory-based regional sales events
  • Plan and execute Transcarent’s various culture and corporate events in concert with communications, HR, and marketing.
  • Lead and execute bi-annual internal company wide events
  • Work with the marketing demand generation team to plan and execute the pre, during, and post event nurture and engagement programs
  • Handle individual event budgets, with focus on delivering high quality leads and generating pipeline, while maximizing the return on investment of each event
  • Manage external vendor relationships, including negotiating budgets and contracts
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure each event meets the overall goals of the company
  • Direct pre-event operations, including: venue selection, budget creation and forecasting, excellent contract negotiation, booth preparations, event staffing, signage creation, ordering collateral and promotional items, purchasing and shipping supplies, housing and travel coordination, on-site services, etc.

You Have

  • Strong ability to operate in a fast-paced environment and manage a high-volume event calendar
  • Able to work in a complex, highly collaborative team environment
  • Excellent written and spoken communication with the ability to write marketing collateral in multiple tones/voices as appropriate
  • Superb organization skills and be deadline and schedule oriented, yet able to flex with dynamically changing priorities
  • Demonstrated ability to be poised and effective during high-pressure situations; ability to anticipate issues and have (or quickly develop) contingency plans
  • Strong knowledge of the tradeshow industry and ‘must-attend’ digital marketing events, knowledge of B2C industry-specific (Insurance, Financial Services, Healthcare, etc) events a plus
  • Min 5 years of successful field marketing experience for B2B high tech, SaaS and/or Cloud industry
  • Experience with Salesforce, Marketo, and event management platforms
  • Travel: Approximately 1-2 events per month
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field
  • Experience partnering with senior healthcare executives to evangelize health/tech solutions
  • A passion for high growth environments and high performing commercial teams
  • An analytical foothold and strong project management capabilities
  • A solid performance history within a fast-moving, startup culture
  • Experience managing the multi-channel event experience to boost event engagement and return on investment, including email, direct mail, web, and social marketing programs
  • Experience managing large scale events (ie. customer conferences), including planning, execution, and reporting
  • Experience leading and executing event participation/sponsorship contracts and then fulfilling the deliverables, including booth selection, lead retrieval, bag drops, advertisements, etc.
