This person will work directly with the North America marketing, events, demand center, and sales teams. The Strategist will analyze business goals, event selection, messaging, execution, spending, assurance of inbound data consistency as relating to events and the return on investment.
• Deliver yearly and quarterly strategic event plans for commercial and consumer based events.
• Present insights for event selection and execution.
• Improve go-to-market workflow for event marketing.
• Streamline event selection, tracking, execution and reporting processes.
• Monitor and measure event success to inform future strategy.
• Strategic Event Plans
o Gather market research, pair with historic owned-event performance, and determine highest-value events on a yearly and quarterly basis.
o Analyze event performance and adjust plans, including event cost vs. leads acquired, developed, and retained.
Event Marketing Plans
o Document and project manage event marketing plans and strategy.
o Outline pre, during, and post event lead generation tactics.
o Assist in ideation and on-site execution of event lead generation tactics.
o Align web, email, social media, and inbound marketing touchpoints with overall marketing plan before, during, and after the event.

o Interface with Lenovo stakeholders to oversee event budget allocation and the PO/Invoicing process.
o Collaborate with the NA team on all funding allocations.
o Assist with the POE auditing and submissions process.
o Agency liaison with NA team and ESG for a smooth transition of information.
o Collaborate with Lenovo sales and marketing leadership to create, implement, and manage the sales-led event process.
