Job Description:

The Corporate Marketing Events team supports Cloud Software Group’s. Business Units: Citrix, TIBCO, and Spotfire with their event governance, strategy, planning and execution.

Responsibilities:

  • Event Strategy & Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive event strategies aligned with company goals. Plan and oversee logistics, content, themes, and messaging for events to maximize impact.
  • Collaboration & Coordination: Work closely with cross-functional teams (marketing, sales, product, and content) to ensure alignment and seamless integration of demos, presentations, content, and promotional activities for events.
  • Event Execution: Lead the end-to-end execution of events, managing timelines, budgets, vendors, and on-site coordination. Oversee virtual conference platforms, ensuring a smooth and engaging digital experience.
  • Contracting and Finance Management: Lead on all contracts, working with procurement and finance to execute contracts, manage POs, invoicing, forecasting and reporting.
  • Sales Collaboration: Partner with the sales team to staff events effectively, strategize pre-event outreach, and coordinate post-event follow-up to optimize lead generation and conversion.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring financial responsibilities are met within established guidelines.
  • Measurement & Analysis: Establish KPIs for events, track ROI, and conduct post-event analysis to evaluate success, iterating strategies for continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of relevant experience in event and marketing program management – either in-house or with an agency
  • Excellent computer skills, including proficiency with Google Suite, Excel, Word, and Powerpoint
  • Experience with Smartsheets, JIRA, and Salesforce
  • Ideal if candidate has experience with event technologies like Swoogo and Cvent
  • Other Qualifications:
  • Deep expertise in digital, physical, and hybrid event planning and execution with an understanding of digital event platforms.
  • Ability to plan and organize with great attention to detail, deadlines and communications.
  • A collaborative personality with the ability to generate event excitement, participation and results.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills required
  • Ability to develop strong networks and build credibility within the organization
  • Ability to perform well in a team environment and manage multiple deadline-driven projects
  • Must be flexible and solution-oriented with excellent time management skills and the ability to multitask
  • Proven ability to take direction and input to develop effective and engaging events that will achieve organizational goals
  • Flexible personality and quick learner who operates with a sense of urgency
  • Willingness to travel to industry and company-sponsored events (approximately 20-30% travel)
