Job Description:

We’re looking for a Senior Code Event Planner to lead and assist various operational activities of key Code Cross-Functional moments such as Global/Geo Pivot, Seasonal Investment Review and others. This role supports the Global and Geo Code Moments Leads to successfully execute the objectives of each moment!

You have experience in event management including planning, coordinating with vendors, logistics, attendees etc. An ideal candidate will build strong relationships with key counterparts within the business, navigate the complex Nike matrix to identify key stakeholders and coordinate with multiple partners to find feasible schedules for meetings. You will creatively solve complex logistical challenges by foreseeing potential obstacles and will build mitigation plans to ensure successful meeting outcomes. Additionally, you will have cultural awareness and sensitivity while working with Global teams and audiences.

What You Will Work On

If this is you, you’ll be working with the Global Consumer Code team and perform the following duties:

  • Navigate complex and competing executive schedules with key admin partners on a regular basis
  • Planning meetings including sending invitations, reserving rooms, and coordinating logistics (e.g. AV)
  • Manage vendors including creation of Purchase Orders
  • Assist management of attendees, agendas and project as needed
  • Planning catering and coordinating optimal schedules with key stakeholders
  • Organize social events
  • Project Management/Timelines etc

Who You Will Work With

You will work with a variety of key stakeholders within the Nike Matrix. This will require a deep understanding of how Nike is organized and how to navigate the complex system. You will work directly with the Global/Geo Consumer Code Moments Leads as well as our extended Operations community

What You Bring

  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant event and meeting management experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education, experience or training
  • Experienced in Microsoft Office suite of products
  • Experienced in Mac Keynote
  • Experienced in Smartsheet
