Job Description:

The Marketing Events Manager will work closely with sales, marketing and the OnSolve leadership team to evaluate, strategize and execute internal and external events focused on driving revenue opportunities, closing existing pipeline, and promoting the company’s overall value proposition. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of the company’s annual events plan along with corresponding corporate functions. Key responsibilities include managing expenses and budgets, analyzing results, and making recommendations for improvements. The primary focus is to ensure all events help position the company as the preferred provider of choice, building stronger brand recognition and ultimately contribute to revenue growth.


The Marketing Events Manager will be responsible for ensuring all aspects of tradeshows and events are well-thought out, strategically positioned for maximum value and visibility, and run smoothly. To perform effectively, extraordinary organizational, communication and diplomacy skills are a necessity. Key responsibilities of OnSolve’s Marketing Events Manager include:

  • Partnering with the demand generation team to research, recommend and execute an event marketing plan across virtual and in-person field events, industry events, customer events and tradeshows.
  • Working closely with marketing and sales to ensure event attendee readiness, alignment, and follow-up.
  • Having the ability to work across the organization to effectively and efficiently balance competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Owning the execution of OnSolve’s annual customer conference including location, speakers, vendors, registration, event platform, promotion, and internal stakeholders.
  • Serving as the lead for OnSolve’s annual kick-off event, working across the entire organization to ensure success.
  • Serving as OnSolve’s lead for planning and executing the company’s annual incentive trip.
  • Effectively partnering with and providing detailed direction to outside agencies and vendors supporting OnSolve’s event strategy and execution.
  • Planning and executing all facets of an event including:
  • Securing exhibit/meeting space, managing participant registration process (or RSVP acceptances)
  • Creating & disseminating important show information
  • Managing elements and deadlines of any event related sponsorships
  • Coordinating exhibits and displays (including graphics, giveaways, shipping, rigging, personnel allocations, etc.)
  • Working across the marketing team to help orchestrate promotion of all events (i.e. website, social media, event invites, etc.)
  • Ensuring excellent brand representation at key events, maximizing all opportunities for speaking, sponsorship and engagement with prospects and customers.
  • Collecting and evaluating written post-event evaluations and conducting ROI analysis
  • Managing leads through a centralized process to ensure captured and entered into company’s CRM (database)
  • Tracking and managing all event-related expense to produce total cost of each event
  • Evaluating all requests with a keen eye for detail and sense of business return on investment; requesting detailed analysis/justification for events to ensure there is an understanding of proposed event value
  • Building and executing online webinar programs in partnership with demand generation and content, experience with ON24 is a plus
  • Other duties as assigned.


  • A. or B.S. – Communication/Marketing/Public Relations related degree preferred
  • Minimum of 5-7 years’ experience organizing and executing large-scale revenue driving and brand building events and tradeshows
  • Direct experience having managed large-scale internal events / kickoffs
  • Ability to multi-task and manage several events at once
  • Ability to work independently, yet collaboratively under deadline and budget constraints
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly organized and strategic thinker
  • High energy and commitment, along with passion for success, are a must
  • Prior experience working with integrated marketing campaigns or graphics is a plus


  • 25-35%, including the ability to travel internationally
