The Head of Global Experiences primary responsibilities include the day to day management of the US Events organization and development of new event based revenue opportunities while implementing best practices and enhancing events strategy globally.  Additional responsibilities include creating more efficiencies within production capabilities, sponsor opportunities and developing Condé Nast’s audiences to amplify events efforts.  The Head of Global Experiences role reports directly to the SVP, Global Commercial Marketing and Events with a focus on operational structure, insights, communication, team building and general oversight on Condé Nast’s vast portfolio of global events.

Your Responsibilities will include:

  • In coordination with the SVP Global Commercial Marketing and Events, develop and implement global event strategy to advance Condé Nast’s industry leadership role to meet or exceed revenue goals 
  • Act as a leader and liaison with key stakeholders in global markets
  • Translate the Condé Nast events offerings, solutions and capabilities in a clear, compelling message to drive revenue 
  • Implement best practices, tools, products, and resources resources to event leads in the US and global markets
  • Regularly develop strategy, implement process and facilitate communication across Events, Marketing, Sales, Research, Consumer and Editorial teams
  • Partner closely with key global executives across Condé Nast, influencing and creating effective relationships with key players and stakeholders

Team Development/Management:

  • Manage US based Division and Central Events teams including oversight on select US tentpoles (Forces of Fashion, Glamour Women of the Year, The New Yorker Festival, etc.)
  • Partner with global leadership on the development and management of the global events organization 
  • Promote a culture of high-performance and continuous improvement that values learning and a commitment to innovation, efficiency and success
  • Collaborate with global event leadership
