Job Description:

Braze is looking for an event expert and brand strategist to join our Global Events team, to develop brilliant and engaging B2B Braze experiences. From owned events to global industry conference integrationsyou will be responsible for producing on-brand, in-person and hybrid event experiences—with a special focus on hybrid and virtual events—to attract new prospects and deepen relationships with existing customers and partners.

What You’ll Do

  • Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams to efficiently deliver on event goals and guest experiences to elevate the Braze brand
  • Be accountable for end-to-end event production, from sourcing vendors, managing budgets and deadlines, leading in-house production meetings, overseeing on-site production and trouble-shooting
  • Understand program goals and KPIs of stakeholders to apply to creative ideation and execution of experiences, to ensure alignment and successful outcomes
  • Work cross-functionally (internally and externally) to verify all deliverables and deadlines are identified and met throughout the vetting, development, design, budgeting and production phases of projects
  • Manage vendor contract and fee negotiations and legal compliance, confirming billing and invoicing terms and processes are met
  • Collaborate with the in-house event tech team as the on-site lead for streaming and hybrid experiences at owned events
  • Collaborate with the in-house event tech team on associated landing and registration pages, and event platform experiences.
  • Lead event production kick-offs and weekly event program syncs to streamline communication and ensure alignment across teams
  • Create post-event recaps and production retros, sharing key learnings and best practices
  • Be accountable for knowledge of, and adherence to, all Braze policies and procedures for on and offsite events

Who You Are

  • 4-5 years of experience as an event production manager/producer inclusive of virtual and hybrid experiences
  • A polished and professional demeanor with an eye for excellence
  • Exceptional communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to learn quickly and operate autonomously in a fast-paced, and unpredictable environment
  • Clever problem solver who is comfortable making decisions and/or collaborating with team members. Not afraid to ask questions or raise concerns
  • Ability to prioritize and juggle multiple projects at once with attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Experience with event platforms such as Bizzabo, Hopin, Zoom, Streamyard, etc preferred
  • Marketo experience a plus
