As the Event Manager based on the west coast of the United States (PST), you will be responsible for the comprehensive planning, execution, and management of events across the organization. You will collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders from sales, marketing, and executive teams to create memorable and impactful events that align with the organization’s strategic objectives. Your role will focus on meticulous planning, effective resource allocation, and the execution of both virtual and in-person events to maximize engagement and return on investment. Success in this role is defined by the ability to deliver seamless event experiences that enhance brand reputation, foster strong relationships, increase employee engagement, and drive business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement event strategies and plans, including conferences, seminars, and virtual events, tailored to meet the needs of different audiences across global markets.
  • Manage all aspects of event planning, from venue selection, vendor management, and logistics to attendee registration, on-site coordination, and post-event evaluation.
  • Working with key members of the marketing teams to ensure events are effectively promoted through various channels, including digital marketing, social media, and direct outreach.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to ensure alignment of event goals with sales objectives, facilitating effective lead generation and follow-up strategies.
  • For internal events: collaborate across functions to deliver on event objectives.
  • Coordinate with PR and Internal Comms teams to maximize media coverage and enhance public awareness of events.
  • Foster relationships with external partners and vendors to secure sponsorships and enhance the quality and reach of event offerings.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and legal regulations during the planning and execution of events.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of events through the analysis of attendee feedback and event metrics, using insights to drive continuous improvement.
  • Effective budget management: Partnering strongly with finance and procurement, Oversee the budgeting process for events. Specifically, ensuring optimal resource allocation and cost control while delivering high-quality experiences and measurable results.
  • Vendor management: ability to negotiate contracts with vendors (in partnership with procurement), and manage supplier relationships to ensure favourable terms and excellent service delivery
  • Promotes an eagerness to develop and implement new processes for improving effectiveness and impact in event planning and logistics as well as seeks to push the boundaries on event experiences that amaze our customers, partners, and employees.
  • Provides additional support to the marketing leadership by way of other marketing initiatives and special projects, as assigned.


  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in event management, preferably within a corporate or B2B setting.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Hospitality, or related field; CMP (Certified Meeting Professional) or CSEP (Certified Special Events Professional) certification is a plus.
  • Proven track record of designing and executing all range of events from large-scale events to virtual conferences.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously under tight deadlines.
  • Experience with digital marketing tools and platforms, including CRM systems (Salesforce and MS Dynamics preferred) and event management software/ platforms, such as Cvent
  • Track record of conducting post-event evaluations, collecting feedback, and analizing event performance to identify areas for improvement and optimize future event strategies
  • Has and promotes an eagerness to develop and implement new processes for improving effectiveness and impact in event planning and logistics as well as seeks to push the boundaries on event experiences that amaze our customers, partners, and employees.
