Job Description:

Oracle University (OU) is seeking to hire an experienced Marketing / Communications Leader to assist in driving accelerated growth of Oracle’s Cloud Learning Solutions and Oracle Guided Learning. The role will require experience in creating actionable marketing strategies and a comprehensive yet focused marketing / communications plan to help OU build brand, lead communication efforts internally and externally and drive leads.


  • Reports to VP Marketing and Partner Enablement, Oracle University.
  • Lead the development of strategic marketing plan that supports OU revenue goals and brand awareness of OU solutions. Includes leading the development of effective marketing messages based on audience and market preferences which result in differentiation.
  • Work with Global and regional leaders across Cloud, Delivery Services & Development organizations to ensure OU value proposition conveys OU marketplace value and differentiation.
  • Build relationships across Oracle Corporation resulting in improved access of key channels to communicate OU value proposition.
  • Assist in improving overall attach rate at Point of Sale of OU solutions.
  • Manage the creative and marketing content development process aligning with Corporate Marketing guidelines and messaging.
  • Run a structured client reference program following Corporate Marketing guidelines. Manage reference database with goal to publish at least 5 references per quarter.
  • Lead OU Cloud Web strategy through innovative web design and creative use of social marketing strategies to increase engagement.
  • Manage marketing metrics to show impact of marketing / communications initiatives.
  • Manage global marketing budget.
  • Lead global marketing team as well as working with corporate marketing resources as required.


  • 12 – 15+ years of experience in a Services, IT or IT Training Marketing environment
  • Strong marketing / communications experience in a regional or global role
  • Professional with good organizational and planning skills
  • Strong leadership and executive presentation skills
  • In depth knowledge of modern marketing best practices including social
  • Advanced degree highly desirable
  • Ideally knowledge of Oracle products and services as well as training curriculum
  • Proven business experience in a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment
  • Experience working in a virtual team environment
  • Ability to travel as required
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Professional with good organizational and planning skills
  • High level of energy, drive, enthusiasm, initiative, dedication
