Job Description:

The Field Marketing Events Manager is responsible for producing events from conception through completion, while providing exceptional customer service and organizing memorable events that meet quality expectations. This position will ensure that event presence supports the overall marketing strategy and company business goals.

What You will Do:

  • Provide event planning, design and production of corporate and regional field events, trade shows, and proprietary events while managing all project delivery elements, working with priorities provided by regional marketing managers
  • Organize and manage booth properties, decor, catering, entertainment, transportation, location, invitee list, speakers, equipment, swag, collateral
  • Conduct research, gather information and negotiate contracts for events sponsorships
  • Understand buying/selling process involving multiple decision-makers for SaaS (Software as a Service) purchases
  • Build and maintain ongoing communications with regional sales leaders, field marketing peers, and account executives
  • Provide feedback and periodic reports to stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with insurance, legal, health and safety obligations
  • Specify staff requirements and coordinate their activities \
  • Cooperate with all aspects of marketing and PR (Public Relations) to promote and publicize events
  • Proactively handle arising event issues and troubleshoot to solve as needed for flawless event execution
  • Forecast, measure and analyze the impact of events on sales cycles
  • Conduct pre- and post-event evaluations and report on outcomes

Qualifications & Interests:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience managing events in a B2B setting
  • Excellent time management and communication skills
  • Sales skills and ability to build productive business relationships
  • Ability to manage other event specialists
  • Ability to manage multiple projects independently
  • Able to communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external parties
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • A valid and current driver’s license
