Job Description:

Ontra is seeking a Field & Events Marketing Manager reporting to our Senior Manager, Global Events on our Marketing team.

The role is a great opportunity for someone to own and deliver a variety of company events in the legal technology SaaS space. You’ll work closely with our Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to build and execute event experiences that engage customers and prospects to drive maximum ROI.

What you’ll do

  • Strategize, plan, and coordinate company events (e.g., Industry trade shows, hosted field events, and partner events) to generate high-quality interactions, create net new sales opportunities, accelerate existing opportunities, deepen customer relationships, and increase brand awareness
  • Develop field marketing plans, including attendee acquisition strategies, event execution, and post-event follow-up to maximize ROI.
  • Execute the entire event from promotion, attendee acquisition, to follow-up. Work closely with the Sales and Business Development functions on pre- and post-event communications.
  • Tradeshow management for national and international shows includes venue selection, contract negotiation, speaker management, invitees, logistics, AV & set up, registration, email blasts, swag requests, etc.

What you’ll bring

  • Experience: 2+ years in Field Marketing, Events, Demand Generation, Marketing, Sales, or similar. Preferably in B2B SaaS with legal technology, experience in international markets and working with global teams is a plus
  • Proven success: Track record of developing and managing field marketing programs and relationships with large enterprise sales organizations
  • Communication: Clear verbal and written communication, excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate internal leaders/teams across departments
  • Prioritization skills: Hands-on ability to execute while managing multiple priorities with effective project management, time management, prioritization, and organizational skills. Exceptional attention-to-detail and ability to anticipate the needs of cross-functional partners
  • Marketing tools experience: Expert in tools like Marketo and Salesforce, as well as proficiency using other office productivity applications and tools (e.g., Google suite, Slack, Asana). Experience with Lead Liason/Captello and Goldcast a plus
  • Travel: Ability to travel up to 30% of the year

Base pay range:

$83,000—$116,000 USD
