Salesforce Strategic Events produces the world’s best technology events that are industry-leading, including Dreamforce, the largest software conference in the world. We also produce events across the US and globally to engage and activate our enthusiastic customers and prospects. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Event Marketing Operations Manager to ensure the seamless and timely execution of our event marketing plans. This individual will champion the attendee journey, understanding their needs to drive registration and engagement. They will build timelines that promote accountability across teams for smooth event delivery.


  • Oversees the end-to-end marketing and content program for our strategic events portfolio.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, ensuring all stakeholders meet deliverables and identifying any dependencies.
  • Implement standardized processes for project plans and timelines, ensuring consistency in tracking tasks and accountability.
  • Lead team reviews of project plans, connecting deliverables and adjusting timelines to optimize marketing efforts.
  • Leads sophisticated project coordination across multiple PR programs.
  • Serve as the primary contact for delivering all content-related marketing assets (e.g., session titles, speaker bios, and headshots).
  • Support Rainfocus platform maintenance with speaker assets, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with program objectives.
  • Develop engaging marketing programs for content, driving engagement and brand awareness.
  • Manage the survey strategy and process, ensuring strong engagement and generating strategic recommendations for future events.
  • Oversee on-site marketing efforts to drive attendance and maximize event impact.
  • Supervise and distribute post-event metrics to relevant teams.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in marketing.
  • Proven success in planning and executing large-scale events, preferably in technology.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate optimally with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in event management software and marketing automation tools.
  • Ability to travel as needed for events.
