Quanterix is a company that is digitizing biomarker analysis with the goal of advancing the science of precision health. We are seeking a skilled and dynamic Events Manager to join our team. As the Events Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our tradeshow participation, managing logistics, working with external vendors, and coordinating a range of internal and external events for our clients and prospects both within the US and abroad. The Events Manager will report directly to the Senior Director, Global Marketing Operations. You will work closely with the marketing, sales, and product teams, and collaborate with external vendors and partners to ensure the successful execution of events. What You’ll Do

  • Tradeshow Management:
    • Plan and execute Quanterix’s participation in global industry tradeshows, ensuring maximum visibility and impact.
    • Coordinate booth design, setup, and logistics, including shipping, storage, and transportation of materials.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop compelling content, presentations, and collateral for tradeshows.
    • Manage pre-show, on-site, and post-show activities to ensure seamless execution.
    • Measure and report on the effectiveness of each tradeshow, providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Vendor Management:
    • Identify and collaborate with external vendors, such as exhibit houses, shipping companies, and AV providers, to ensure successful event execution.
    • Negotiate contracts, manage budgets, and monitor vendor performance to optimize value and quality of services provided.
  • Event Planning and Management:
    • Assist in the planning and execution of various internal and external events, including user conferences, seminars, webinars, and workshops.
    • Coordinate event logistics, including venue selection, catering, audiovisual setup, and attendee registration.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to develop event agendas, presentations, and promotional materials.
    • Ensure all events align with Quanterix’s brand and messaging, delivering a consistently high-quality experience.
  • Communication and Collaboration:
    • Conduct event kick-off calls and recap calls with stakeholders to define objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
    • Collaborate closely with the Senior Director of Global Marketing Operations to align event strategies with overall marketing goals.
    • Ensuring all leads are passed to Sales Operations team for uploading into SFDC in a timely manner.
    • Work cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and product teams to integrate event activities into broader campaigns.
    • KOL/Honorarium Buildout

What We’ll Expect From You:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • 5+ years proven experience in event planning and management, preferably in the life sciences or healthcare industry. Including 3+ years of owning full event management experience.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and event management software.
  • Ability to work independently, take ownership of tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Flexibility to travel and work weekends or extended hours, as required.
  • Knowledge of the latest trends and best practices in event management and experiential marketing.
