Job Description:

Stripe is looking for an experienced, creative, powerhouse event manager to join Stripe’s Corporate Events team to provide overall event operational and production support of Stripe’s flagship internal and external events. This role works closely with product marketing, design, communications, sales enablement, and other stakeholders/contributors. Candidates need to demonstrate experience communicating and partnering with all levels of an organization, including executive leadership. We are looking for candidates that are highly organized and impact oriented, excited about fast paced work in high urgency, high importance situations, are able to address complex problems in structured and creative ways, and are skilled at driving decisions in ambiguous environments.

Responsibilities

  • Support event programs of various scales, both internally and externally
  • Support in the development and management of project plans, including documentation of strategy, process, objectives, deliverables, and timelines
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and assisting with unblocking throughout projects
  • Lead meetings and document action items
  • Lead development of production schedule and drive milestone fulfillment
  • Facilitate conversations and drive consensus for complex, ambiguous problems with diverse, sometimes conflicting viewpoints
  • Treat internal supporting organizations and workstreams as internal customers to ensure their needs are met and that our events maintain a strong internal reputation as being best in class to support and partner on
  • Lead internal and external project debriefs

Who you are

Minimum Requirements

  • 6+ of Global event management experience on large scale internal and external user conferences
  • Ability to track the status of a working group by managing project plans, checklists, driving timeline, and organizing data
  • Experience working with SmartSheets, gsheets or related project management tools
  • Ability to define projects, execute within timelines, and manage both in person and virtual events
  • Organization skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent business and report-writing skills
  • Kind, flexible, can do attitude
