Job Description:

The Event Coordinator works directly with the Fund’s five field staff in coordinating presentations and consultations at both YMCA Associations and YMCA conferences across the country.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree

Specialized Knowledge, Skills and Traits:

  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Ability to multi-task and work at a very fast pace
  • Experience with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with Client Relationship Management software desired
  • Detail-oriented and extremely organized a must 
  • Ability to interface professionally with all levels of management internally and externally
  • Knowledge of the YMCA Retirement Fund’s constituents and operations preferred 
  • Self-starter with the ability to take initiative and  introduce new ideas 
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills 

Essential Functions

  • Support the efforts of the Y Relations team to ensure timely and efficient registration for all events
  • Acts as the liaison for national conference logistics including preparing presentation material and obtaining all logistical details to set-up conference registrations 
  • Prepare reports, such as YMCA Contribution Analysis and 403(b) Penetration, as requested
  • Ability to use Salesforce, Pardot, ScheduleOnce, and similar technology to support field work
  • Ensure all educational content used in the field is the most updated version 
  • Maintain an updated roster of all C-Suite positions within YMCAs
  • Serve as back-up for the Meeting Coordinator helping with preparing field presentation material and content shipments and inventory management of Fund promotional items
  • Support Director of Education with additional requests and projects
  • Make recommendations for process improvement

Salary: $50,000.00 – $60,000.00
