Forrester’s Events Coordinator is part of the US events logistics team and reports to the director of US event operations. We are looking for a fast-paced, motivated, organized, detail-oriented, and customer-focused individual for this position.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage various components of event operations. This may include meeting room specifications, audio visual tools, internet, signage, registration, website updates, mobile app coordination, agendas, special events, and VIP travel needs.
  • Facilitate analysts’ one-on-one meetings and roundtable sessions at events. Ensure accurate information is listed on the website and in the scheduling tool.
  • Assist in handling event materials, such as lanyards, badges, tent cards, and décor items.
  • Coordinate sponsor fulfillment needs, including sessions, attendee messaging, scanning, registration codes, and other needs.
  • Travel to events to interact with clients and provide top-notch customer service. Oversee sponsor lead retrieval, meeting coordination, and the mobile app.
  • Review processes for improvements and assist with new initiatives as needed.

Job Requirements

  • A BA/BS degree and a strong academic record with varied undergraduate work experience.
  • A minimum of one to two years of professional experience, preferably related to live events.
  • A detail-oriented approach and excellent organization and prioritization skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work independently and as a valued and contributing member of a team.
  • The ability to work on multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, HTML, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
  • The ability to travel to North American forums.
