Events and Experiential Marketing Manager – Archer

Archer is an aerospace company based in Palo Alto, California building an all-electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft with a mission to advance the benefits of sustainable air mobility. We are designing, manufacturing, and operating an all-electric aircraft that can carry four passengers for 60 miles at speeds of up to 150 mph while producing minimal noise.

What you’ll do:

  • Contribute to overall marketing ideas and strategy from a events and experiential perspective
  • Create event strategy across key segments: investors / media / future customers and enthusiasts
  • Own event concept development, event project planning and overall execution for all Archer’s event activities
  • Manage all event vendors, contracts and budgets including insurance and permitting requirements for onsite and offsite events
  • Project manage the creation of all event creative assets working in collaboration with the broader marketing and design teams
  • Own all event staffing needs, fulfillment, plans and communication
  • Work with Digital and Social Media team to define promotional strategy around tease / event / post-event content
  • Own creation of event-specific KPIs and ensure reporting is delivered for every major activation
  • Develop and manage systems and processes for event partners and internal collaborators to operate under (e.g. vehicle movement and security protocol)
  • Identify and champion new technologies and approaches to event execution and identify ways to improve Archer’s event execution by infusion of new technologies

What you need:

  • 5+ years of experience in a senior events role with a successful event portfolio
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Proven ability to concept and execute world-class events for start-up brands
  • Excellent project management skills and an ability to work under pressure
  • Superior vendor negotiation skills and a black book of event vendor contacts
  • Ability to solve problems quickly and independently when on-site at events
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize, and manage workload to strict deadlines, and operate effectively under remote management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Team player and creative thinker who can lead internal team members as well as outside vendors
