Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Event/Trade Show Coordinator to join our team. The Event/Trade Show Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating small events and managing logistics for company trade show booths. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, strong organizational skills, and be able to work independently. This position requires occasional travel.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage small events, such as seminars, networking events, and product launches.
- Work with vendors to negotiate and secure contracts for event services, such as catering, AV equipment, and decorations.
- Create and manage event timelines, budgets, and checklists to ensure events run smoothly.
- Oversee event setup and breakdown, including managing vendors, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are in place.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for event attendees, answering questions and resolving any issues that arise.
- Coordinate logistics for company trade show booths, including managing booth setup and breakdown, shipping and receiving of materials, and coordinating with vendors.
- Assist with event marketing efforts, including creating promotional materials, managing social media campaigns, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
- Conduct post-event evaluations and analysis to assess event success and identify areas for improvement.
- Travel to event locations as needed to oversee event setup, manage on-site logistics, and ensure successful execution of events.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in event management, marketing, communications, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in event coordination or related field.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, event management software, and social media platforms.
- Knowledge of industry best practices and trends in event planning and coordination.
- Willingness and ability to travel to event locations as needed.
