Job Description:

The Event Program Manager will be an integral part of the Event Marketing function within the Field and Partner Marketing team at Arctic Wolf. In this role, you will have the opportunity to shape Arctic Wolf’s Corporate Event experiences while supporting events under the functional umbrella that facilitate learning, fuel pipeline growth and leave a lasting impression with our target audiences. This is a multi-faceted role, where you will partner with multiple stakeholders from within the company spanning our executive team as well as partners in sales, marketing, product, and channel. You will be responsible for orchestrating world-class corporate events—from concept to execution— while also supporting initiatives led by the Events Team, ranging from branded events to sponsored events to internal events. 


  • Builds multi-level project plans, manages and executes all logistics for corporate events (Sales Kickoff, Company Kickoff, President’s Club, Proprietary Conferences, etc.); ensures event experiences and programs are repeatable and scalable and best-in-class
  • Serve as a highly visible corporate event lead; communicate effectively and concisely with executive stakeholders internally and externally; must have a strong and polished executive presence
  • Develop and own company-wide resources as it relates to successful event planning, including playbooks, best practices, and how-to documents to support and enable the event needs of departments company-wide
  • Manages event staffing needs and clearly communicates event needs with all necessary internal departments including leadership, sales teams, sales enablement, field/channel marketing, demand generation, security services, R&D, product and product marketing
  • Oversee creation of event communications and promotion for event programs, in partnership with demand center and sales enablement to drive adoption and engagement
  • Manage, on-board and maintain external partners and vendors, including negotiating optimal terms and holding accountable for service-delivery
  • Monitor event performance and report on key metrics of all event efforts and propose strategies to evolve and improve them; create or reengineer processes, resources, and/or structure to gain productivity and other event program improvements
  • Builds, monitors and reconciles accurate and robust event budgets
  • Ensure planned events are executed within budget allocation, look for ways to lower costs without reducing impact
  • Manages event expenses from contracting, to event, through final settlement
  • Determines needs and resolves problems by making strategic, business-oriented decisions required to ensure a successful event
  • Develop strong and positive internal working relationships to ensure our needs are met in the areas outside our scope (IT, Security, People Experience, Pack Unity). Continuously strive to maintain the Events Team internal brand and reputation as being best-in-class event planners to support and partner with
  • Step in to support the broader Events Team goals and objectives by assisting with tradeshows, meeting setting events, racing and executive briefing center programs
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members to foster team growth and success
  • Think creatively and push team members to bring innovative ideas and solutions to the greater team to keep our events dynamic and engaging
  • Own and manage multiple projects and events simultaneously, ensuring clear and proactive communication to meet deadlines
  • Must be able to handle the pressure of an extremely fast paced environment inclusive of tight deadlines and turnaround times. Able to solve problems, juggle, and keep a cool head in the sometimes-chaotic world of events

Skills and Requirements:

  • Highly collaborative and able to manage various leveled stakeholders while building positive business relationships
  • Creative thinker, who can pivot goals/objectives into well-formulated experiences that differentiate our events
  • 5+ years relevant, progressive experience in event marketing (experience working for cloud services/security technology company with enterprise focus a plus)
  • Familiarity with B2B marketing, lead generation and sales processes. Understanding of marketing/sales funnel and methods by which to increase opportunities and impact pipeline velocity
  • Strong analytical skills; ability to measure effectiveness of programs and extract actionable insights (experience with Salesforce, Marketo, and Tableau with the ability to learn new software quickly a plus)
  • Must be able to collaborate effectively with a variety of departments, stakeholders, and leadership levels
  • Excellent organizational, prioritization, and project management skills
  • Ability to initiate tasks and work independently with sharp attention to detail
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, English or Communications
  • Must be willing and able to travel up to 35%, including some weekends
