Job Description:

Event Marketing Specialist

• Create and maintain schedules and manage projects from inception to completion
• Execute on marketing strategy and attendee recruitment activities inclusive of target audience, tracking, messaging, and methods of outreach (Emails, social, telemarketing, personal outreach, etc.)
• All marketing activities will focus on meeting department KPIs ( i.e., conversions, registration goals, attendee goals, net new name acquisition).
• Create and proof (to ensure accuracy) content that motivates, inspires, educates, informs, sells, and ultimately provides information to generate registrations across a wide variety of digital platforms
• Immediately following each event, report post-event data in department reporting tools
• Utilize and develop a mastery of all department technology tools (i.e. CVENT, Monday.com, Adestra)
• Lead special projects when asked within department
• May include travel to events to ensure operational excellence
• Vet registrations for events to ensure attendee qualification criteria are met

Event Marketing Specialist

• 2+ years related experience
• Exceptional communication, writing, and analytics skills
• Strong B2B or tech industry knowledge and experience
• Solid computer skills, including MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) and knowledge of CVENT a plus
• BS/BA degree required, preferably in marketing or communications
