Job Description:

The Event Marketing Planner is a subject matter expert responsible for the planning, promotion and execution of multiple corporate exhibitions and events (in-person, virtual, and/or hybrid) including on-site presence and/or sponsorship and promotional opportunities. This position will be responsible for supporting marketing aspects of our internal and external regional events in the US, APAC and EMEA, as well as global trade shows and exhibitions. This position will work cross-functionally with internal teams to drive awareness and registration and to maximize the ROI from exhibitions.


  • Responsible for supporting regional events in the US, APAC, and EMEA, global industry trade shows, exhibitions and internal events such as Security Congress, Secure Summits and webinars.
  • Responsible for the strategy and execution of the marketing plans for global corporate and sponsorship exhibitions and events to drive awareness and registration, including, but not limited to digital and email marketing, social, PPC, third-party and co-marketing agreements, website content, mailers, giveaways, etc.
  • Oversee the marketing support and execution and conduct pre- and post- marketing efforts.
  • Create effective, informative and engaging talking points for on-site and/or online moderators, booth reps, session coordinators, and brief the team on talking points, the schedule, and help level-set expectations.
  • Provides input to project elements, as necessary, at all scales: email/landing page/collateral copy, social posts, video scripts, etc.
  • Responsible for reporting on overall effectiveness of campaigns/projects, recommends appropriate adjustments (media mix and consumer targeting strategies) to improve results based on experience, data, and analytics; uses A/B testing when appropriate.
  • Assist Marketing Manager with the development of our annual industry event strategy, co-marketing agreement negotiations, and paid partner relationships.
  • Miscellaneous duties as assigned.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience in Marketing
  • Excellent PC skills including MS Office products (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook), internet and web applications/navigation
  • Salesforce CRM knowledge a plus
  • Global marketing and cultural awareness a plus

Physical & Mental:

  • Up to 25% travel (when it becomes safer to do so)
  • Work normal business hours and extended hours when necessary
  • Remain in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods
  • Regular use of office equipment such as a computer/laptop and monitor computer screens
  • Occasionally, approximately 10% of the time, transport and/or lift up to 30 lbs. of equipment or packages, which may also involve squatting, bending, or kneeling
