Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated event marketing manager to join our team. As an event marketing manager on the IIG Event Marketing team, you’ll be working in an agile environment to deliver a set of critical outcomes for our business and clients. The role will, among other things:

  • Be responsible for implementing marketing campaigns across the event ecosystem including proprietary events and industry conferences.
  • Interact with IIG sales and RMs, Conference and Event planning, and external vendors to support the execution of the events.
  • Partner with Senior Event Marketing Managers on event strategy and experimentation.
  • Develop measurement strategies to help determine the effectiveness of each event type.
  • Facilitate aspects of marketing process required to generate attendance (e.g., audience targeting, positioning, messaging and creative).
  • Partner with IIG Marketing Product Owners to develop audience attendance strategies.
  • Partner with Head of Event Marketing on broader program initiatives, communications, and events.

In this role you will:

  • Working independently, initiates and / or leads channel marketing programs, initiatives, promotions or research projects.
  • Develops, implements, and monitors channel marketing plans. Contributes expertise to major channel marketing deliverables, milestones, and required tasks.
  • Ensures channel marketing plans are aligned with the overall department strategy. Assists with defining the appropriate success and effectiveness of channel marketing initiatives and drafts in-depth reviews of channel marketing effectiveness.
  • Identifies and analyzes varied sources of data and information to inform planning decisions. Develops and executes regular reporting, providing actionable insight to the business.
  • Proactively communicates status and issues of channel marketing activity regularly to stakeholders, including sales professionals, business leaders, team members, and senior managers.
  • Builds and maintains effective relationships with various parties including sales professionals, business leads, and key decision makers. Proactively fosters communication between stakeholders.
  • Proactively identifies, manages, and mitigates risks on channel marketing activities.
  • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

  • Minimum five years related work experience.
  • Undergraduate degree in Marketing or equivalent experience required.
