EnsembleIQ is seeking an Event Marketing Manager who will work directly with the Publisher in a fast-paced multimedia information services organization. This role will be responsible for promoting three brands, Drug Store News, Hardware & Building Supply Dealer and Convenience Care Clinician to core audiences, including readers, advertisers, event attendees and prospects, to drive awareness and engagement, and ultimately drive revenue. Join a group of passionate and high-energy professionals who love the retail health industries they serve. The successful marketing manager can take direction from a team of subject matter experts, and in turn create a variety of powerful messages for targeted audiences, in multimedia formats. You design pitch decks, have great writing chops, can build snappy and engaging email promos, and have led social media marketing campaigns. You also have excellent attention to detail, project management skills, can hit deadlines, and have the technical aptitude to run an event content and registration website. In short, you love hands-on tactical marketing and come armed with a variety of techniques to create and execute great campaigns.

About the Job:

  • Partner with Publishers to help execute core marketing tasks and/or traffic requests to appropriate team members / freelancers.
  • Create, maintain, and update sales collateral; including sales sheets, sponsor resources, presentation decks, brochures, emails, webinars, and websites that highlight upcoming sales opportunities. If additional support is required, help facilitate and manage this process to be sure work is completed on-time and on-budget.
  • Event marketing: Build the event registration website, support on-site event marketing needs, and help drive event registration and sponsorship interest
  • Create and execute brand and event programs to drive traffic to website via search/social/ SEO tactics and make recommendations on how to adjust strategy to constantly drive growth
  • Measure and analyze campaign effectiveness; Provide leads to the sales team;
  • Support customer audience engagement and lead development
  • Coordinate broad-based advertising, including associations
  • Support the overall team in maintaining quality control standards in material development, including social content, briefings, copywriting, reporting
  • Develop copy for house ads and work with internal art team and/or freelance talent to produce
  • Draft press releases to promote key editorial features–goal being to help drive additional traffic to site and garner business press exposure
  • Light design work for email campaigns and sales collateral

Job Requirements

  • Marketing degree or equivalent
  • 4+ years marketing experience preferably in the media or events industry
  • Experience in healthcare, pharmacy or retail markets preferred
  • Excellent written communication and copywriting skills
  • Experience developing and implementing marketing plans
  • Experience running paid and organic social media campaigns
  • Excellent Power Point or Google slides skills required; Photoshop and/or InDesign skills highly desired
  • Proficiency in digital media and online analytics
  • Experience with HTML, email client programs, and content management systems preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently as a self-starter, but also in a team sales environment
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to communicate clearly and effectively; Professional, high energy, get-it-done demeanor
