What You’ll Do
The Cisco CX Marketing organization is seeking a hard-working, highly organized, and enthusiastic individual as an Event Marketing Manager who is passionate about creating incredible event experiences that generate opportunities for collaboration, engagement, and inspiration, and leave attendees feeling educated and inspired to engage with our CX organization. The Event Manager will help to manage the event design and execution process and to develop event execution teams and supplier relationships within the live and digital event spectrum. Professional and proven experience in event management is essential.
This is a critical role supporting a highly visible portfolio of events that amplifies the Cisco Services (CX) narrative for highly targeted audiences to generate optimal business impact. This position not only requires excellence in event execution but requires strategic thinking – considering analysis from executed events, trends in the industry, and our current and future business needs – in order to develop and strengthen CX’s brand presence and position in the industry.

Who You’ll Work With
The Event Marketing Manager, in partnership CX Marketing leadership, the CX marketing team and extended stakeholders, will manage the execution of CX’s presence at global tier 1 Cisco branded events, global tier 2 (regional) events, and our digital events. Most important, a primary responsibility is a laser focus (with specific goals) on acquiring contacts and ensuring these contacts are ingested into the CX Marketing engine. This role reports the Director of Events & Experiential Marketing.
Who You Are
We are looking for the right events manager who will work with senior level marketing management to design and execute world-class presence at Cisco’s tier one global events, support for regional events, and digital events. You have a strong proficiency in all aspects of event management and execution, exceptional communication and organizational skills, agile problem-solving processes. You have a strong passion for excellence, strong cross-organizational collaboration abilities, and are comfortable working in a virtual team environment. You have a strong portfolio of executed events and can speak to the impact of these on the business.
