Job Description:
As an Event Marketing Manager, you will be responsible to help develop, drive and scale the event’s strategy. This person will work cross-functionally with marketing, business development, customer success, product and engineering teams with a goal of driving awareness, accelerating activations and growing customer engagement through innovative and influential experiences.
Event Planning and Execution:
- Plan, coordinate, and implement all aspects of company events, including conferences, trade shows, product launches, and promotional events.
- Develop and manage event timelines, budgets, and logistics to ensure seamless execution.
Strategic Marketing Initiatives:
- Develop and implement event marketing strategies aligned with overall marketing goals and business objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate events into broader marketing campaigns.
Audience Engagement:
- Identify target audience segments and develop strategies to attract and engage them effectively.
- Apply various marketing channels, including email marketing, social media, and content marketing, to promote events and drive attendance.
Sponsorship and Partnerships:
- Identify and negotiate partnerships with relevant sponsors, vendors, and collaborators to improve event experience and reach.
- Manage relationships with event partners and ensure contractual obligations are met.
Measurement and Reporting:
- Track and analyze key performance indicators to evaluate the success of events and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Generate post-event reports summarizing results and insights for internal partners.
Brand Representation:
- Ensure that events align with and promote the company’s brand image and messaging.
- Supervise the production of event collateral and materials to maintain brand consistency.
Who You Are
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (MBA or relevant certification is a plus).
- 8-10 of experience in event marketing or related roles, with a proven track record of successful event planning and execution.
- Strong project management skills, including budgeting, timeline management, and vendor coordination.
- Proficiency in event management software and CRM platforms (e.g., Eventbrite, Cvent, HubSpot, Salesforce).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build compelling event-related content.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and adapt to changing priorities.
