Job Description:

TEKsystems is hiring an event manager for a 1 year contract with one of our financial clients. This role is remote, but qualified candidates must sit in/near Boston or NYC for events. Qualified candidates will have 2-3 years of experience in event/trade show planning in the financial space.

Description

  • You will handle program deliverables, including marketing communications, collateral, registration/invitation copy/promotions, event logistics and sales communications
  • You will own third-party conferences, including marketing, event planning, exhibit booths and working with sales on staffing and scheduling
  • You will support smaller industry conference deliverables through booth coordination and premiums
  • You will ensure all event components are impactful, follow guidelines to showcase SPDR thought leadership in an integrated marketing approach across channels
  • Provide on-site support for additional events needed
  • You will maintain the events budgets, submit invoices, and track team corporate credit cards
  • Maintain the events/conferences calendar with dates, costs, venues etc
  • Maintain premiums/Harte Hanks; maintain quantities, stock and refresh items on Harte Hanks and Salesforce
  • Dedicated to measuring return on investment for all programs and help provide analysis reporting.
