The Event Manager reports to iTj’s Head of Marketing, overseeing all event planning and execution. We seek an organized candidate adept at managing multiple events concurrently. Our Marketing team is dynamic, innovative, and occasionally guerilla. Key Responsibilities:

-Customer Visits

You will collaborate with our extensive network of political, economic development, and educational institutions to craft meaningful experiences for both prospects and customers.

  • Collaborate on crafting customer visit strategy alongside our partners and cross-functional team.
  • Oversee execution timelines, ensuring all stakeholders are well-informed and on schedule.
  • Maintain and manage the attendee list, engaging with participants and potential attendees to communicate crucial details regarding their involvement.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, ensuring seamless and timely execution, always prioritizing the customer experience.


You will play a crucial role in educating prospects about the distinct advantages of nearshoring software resources with iTj, while also providing guidance on industry-specific topics.

  • Work with the Head of Marketing to shape webinar strategy and develop the yearly calendar.
  • Collaborate with digital marketing, sales, engineering, and iTj leadership to craft thought-provoking webinars that enhance audience interaction.
  • Manage all aspects of ongoing webinars, from prep to post-analysis.
  • Enhance organizational learning for better future decisions.

-Associations & Awards

You will engage with all Bio/Life Science associations that we are a part of and assess event and co-sponsorship prospects. Additionally, you will aid in navigating through the myriad of award nominations, assisting with prioritization.

  • Cultivate relationships with key figures in our affiliated associations.
  • Assess, budget, and prioritize event and sponsorship prospects.
  • Manage event participation, coordinating cross-functional schedules.
  • Recommend and organize award opportunities, coordinating nominations.

-Networking Events & Dinners

Assist the team in maintaining organization and attending relevant networking events and dinners.

  • Outline networking strategy and criteria to assess event viability.
  • Assist teams in organization and maximizing event participation.

-Tradeshows & Customer Conferences

Even though these areas are not currently a primary focus of our overall strategy, you might take the lead in traditional exhibition planning or co-exhibiting at customer conferences.

  • Understand how to create an impactful, attention-drawing booth.
  • Outline and organize all essential activities with corresponding timelines.
  • Gather all stakeholders and ensure prompt and high-quality execution of each activity.


  • 8-10 years’ experience in event
  • 3-5 years’ experience in event and webinar planning and execution
  • Proven project management, organizational skills, and meticulous attention to detail
  • Fast learner with an entrepreneurial drive, thriving under pressure
  • Effective prioritization and multitasking in dynamic environments
  • Strong written and verbal communication aptitude
  • Devotion to delivering an exceptional customer experience
  • Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively in team settings
  • Flexibility to travel up to 60% for events
  • Physically capable of handling standard event equipment, including backdrops and banners
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license
