Job Description:

Experienced event manager to help make a lasting impression to clients and partners. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in event planning and management, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for customer service. He or she will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of conference planning, from start to finish, including logistics, vendor management, and execution. A successful PM should be good with multitasking, with the ability to think and solve problems quickly.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all event-related inquiries.
  • Work to develop and implement a comprehensive event plan that meets the needs of the attendees.
  • Draft execution plan and review with sponsors and stakeholders
  • Work with speakers to block calendars and to develop presentable content making sure that fits the timelines.
  • Manage all aspects of event logistics.
  • Contribute to enhancement of event portal. Provide timely updates on event developments and promoting attendee engagement.
  • Serve as the on-site event manager during the event, overseeing all activities and ensuring that all attendees have a positive experience.
  • Handle all post-conference evaluations and feedback, using the information gathered to improve future events.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices to ensure that the event remains at the forefront of the field.

Required Skills And Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in business, hospitality, or related field
  • 5+ years experience in conference/event planning and management
  • Proven track record of successful event execution from start to finish
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with aptitude to learn new software and systems

Preferred Skills And Qualifications

  • Experience working with technical staff and PM s
  • Certification in meeting and event planning (CMP)
