Job Description:

blink is searching for an enthusiastic event manager with a positive attitude to assist our organization with hosting events, managing schedules, and logistics. The ideal candidate will possess skills in communication, management, and negotiations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Plan and organize promotional, business, and social events
  • Produce detailed proposals for events (including timelines, venues, suppliers, legal obligations, staffing, and budget)
  • Manage schedules and logistics surrounding transportation
  • Liaise with clients to find out their exact event requirements
  • Work extensively with Operations Manager and provide full briefings to partners
  • Oversee the dismantling of the event and efficient clearing of the venue
  • Produce post-event evaluation with all respective parties
  • Research opportunities for new clients and events
  • Manage all aspects of event planning, meeting strict deadlines and budget demands
  • Provide financial management for all events and send out invoices
  • Promote events through various channels
  • Conduct travel arrangements: flights and hotel accommodations
  • Other assigned duties

Qualifications and Competencies:

  • Bachelor’s degree in public relations, communications, hospitality, or related discipline
  • At least 2-5 years of experience in event planning/management
  • Communication and marketing skills

Preferred Skills:

  • Efficiency in Microsoft Excel/ Google docs, Google Sheets, Gmail suite
  • Proficiency in Airtable, Asana, Monday, or any task management system
  • Management/Planning/Logistics experience
