Job Description:

The Global Brand Studio Event Lead will provide team leadership and oversight across some of TikTok most influential B2B event moments. The Event Lead will be responsible for ensuring creativity and joy are central to everything we make and put out into the industry ecosystem. The ideal candidate is a forward-thinking leader with proven experience bringing live events and experiential activations to life. We’re looking for someone with a strong vision for event strategy and execution, team motivation, and a pulse on industry event trends. Key candidates will have deep knowledge of the B2B events landscape as a whole, and extensive knowledge of major tentpoles and industry events like CES, AdWeek, Cannes Lions, SxSW, and Newfronts.

This position reports to the Global Director of Event Management & Production.

Responsibilities

  • Lead event development and execution for specific North America and Global business marketing teams initiatives.
  • In development of the event experience, apply regional strategic marketing messaging to ensure experience is on brand and meeting objectives.
  • Bring innovative thinking and executional expertise to each event including integrating the latest and greatest event trends and technology.
  • Oversee and at times, manage all aspects of event production, including, but not limited to:
  • Interface and act as main point of contact for business marketing teams
  • Drive multiple projects forward simultaneously
  • Help organize and set-up projects for success from initial stages through execution
  • Partner closely with cross-functional department and internal Studio team to develop and recommend full event experience and execution
  • Partnering with Event Production Lead on budget development, management, tracking and reconciliation
  • Work with Global Director of Event Management and Production and cross functional partners on clearly identifying, outlining and tracking measureable event KPI’s
  • Manage and mentor a team of event managers helping to define team OKR’s and performance.
  • Clearly articulate TikTok’s brand vision internally and with third-party production vendors to create best-in-class experiences that bring joy to consumers.
  • Bring deep knowledge and understanding of the experiential landscape to the planning process.
  • Research, identify and recommend up and coming agencies.
  • Build relationships with regional event production teams and key industry events, conventions, etc.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Relevant years of experience in an event-specific role.
  • Rich experience in executing a wide variety of large-budget experiences in entertainment and tech event spaces. Large-scale activations at consumer-facing festivals, trade shows, and industry events are a must
  • Proven history of collaborating across multiple disciplines to meet campaign event goals (marketing, b2b, media, creative, social, etc.).
  • Ability to create decks, presentations, budgets, run-of-show documents, etc.
  • Ability to communicate clearly while operating in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven history leading a team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Agency experience, preferred.

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $106000 – $180000 annually.
