  • We are looking for an event coordinator. Must reside locally as this position will be reporting to the main headquarters in Seattle, WA.
  • Will assist the meeting/event staff with all aspects of planning a meeting or special event (mainly retreats) within the organization. Involved in location, food, transportation, and presentation arrangements. It may require a high school diploma or equivalent and required years of related experience. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Typically reports to a supervisor.
  • Support anywhere from 1-10 events per week at the Seattle site, ranging in size but typically totalling 150-500 total employees gathering onsite during any given week
  • Act as the on-site point of contact for Seattle team gatherings, interfacing with leaders, Assistants and event contacts.
  • Contribute to on-site event operations, in partnership with the Workplace (Facilities) team, to ensure event supplies, catering, design assets, etc. help support a great attendee experience
  • Support team gatherings nationally, including support around areas like building access, event pages/RSVPs, attendee resources, and issue resolution in support of remote event planners.

The team will need less of an employee who is strategically running the venue/site and more so an “in the weeds” worker to resolve all items on-site resolve. Things they could be doing in a day would be:

  • Printing the event documents
  • Getting supplies and setting up a check-in stand
  • Walking the department admins through a space or set of spaces to show what it looks / functions like
  • Check all catering deliveries to ensure they’re correct

Salary Range:

The salary for this position is between $35,000 – $45,000 annually. Factors affecting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
