Job Description:

CyberArk is seeking a Director, Global Event Strategy & Operations, to lead the planning and execution of a comprehensive event program across the globe that will elevate CyberArk’s leadership in identity security through amazing, brand-centric in-person and virtual experiences. Managing a team of 2-3 direct reports, this role oversees both external and internal events, including our ecosystem conference series, key industry tradeshows, our annual kick-off event, and other strategic customer-facing events. You and your team will work closely with marketing, sales, and product teams to ensure these events deliver engaging high-touch branded experiences, effectively showcase our solutions, and meet our business goals.

What you will do:

  • Develop and implement a global event strategy that aligns with CyberArk’s business objectives and maximizes our brand exposure as The Identity Security Company
  • Establish best practices and efficient workflows for cross-functional teams, partners and customers
  • Manage strategic events calendar and project plans, including budgets, resource coordination and allocation, critical milestones, and internal and external communications
  • Manage and mentor a team of event professionals to ensure consistent, high-quality execution that aligns to our brand strategy
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure the proper application of CyberArk branding and value-based messaging and content at all events
  • Negotiate with vendors and manage agency relationships to ensure quality service and cost-effectiveness in collaboration with procurement
  • Collaborate with operations teams on the selection of event technology and services
  • Collaborate with regional marketing teams to advise on best practices for field events
  • Measure and track the success of each event by evaluating key performance indicators and utilizing this data to prioritize and optimize future events
  • Stay informed on the latest event industry trends and integrate these innovations and best practices into our event planning

What you need to succeed:

  • 12 or more years’ experience in event management for B2B organizations, preferably in technology sector; cybersecurity industry experience a plus
  • Hands-on experience planning and executing a broad range of events, including conferences, tradeshow exhibits and internal corporate events
  • In-depth knowledge of end-to-end event management, including strategy, budget management, resource allocation, audience acquisition and logistics
  • Highly organized and analytical, excel at managing and influencing broad stakeholder groups and adept at synthesizing a variety of inputs into a successful event strategy
  • Exceptional written and verbal skills – able to persuade with insights and defend investments and programs
  • Demonstrated success influencing C-level executives
  • Able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and manage multiple events simultaneously
  • Proficiency in digital event platforms and tools
  • Willingness to travel 25 percent of the year
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field
