We are seeking a digital events specialist, who can support our business development efforts. This is an amazing opportunity to execute on premiere thought leadership events. Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Digital marketing and execution which includes, but is not limited to:

  • Support overall execution of digital events, as it relates to sales, marketing and project management of the event
  • Coordinate with the Marketing team to create all collateral (Landing page, Mailers, Infographics, Blogs, Social media posts etc) and execute the Event marketing plan
  • Manage event PowerPoint & branding templates and any additional content (I.e. handouts, videos)
  • Facilitate internal prep team meetings
  • Plan and schedule, workflow of virtual events, including managing, approving, and modifying event requests from Sales & other Avasant stakeholders
  • Act as program manager leading up to and during the event, which includes:
  • Creating Run of show
  • Facilitating dry runs
  • Managing virtual events platform
  • Ensuring client deliverables are sent are executed on time
  • Acting as POC for any challenges that arise
  • Ensuring target registrations
  • Manage contact database which includes outreach, demographic segmentation, registration, ongoing reporting & analytics
  • Coordinate and compile all content for virtual events


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Marketing, communications related field or equivalent work experience in events and digital marketing
  • 2+ years of proven experiences leading the development and execution of virtual events
  • Experience in event technology project management, preferably to support sales efforts
  • Experience in event marketing including newsletters, email targeting, social media, SEO
  • Ability to think strategically to ensure event supports business development goals.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at once, set priorities, work independently, problem solve, improvise, and function as part of a team that often must perform under pressure
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated communication skills and ability to work across teams within an organization
  • Excellent organizational skills, including project management, multitasking, time management, and meticulous attention to details
  • Creative copy writing ability, and strong command of the English language
  • Ability to work independently with little oversight and a positive attitude
  • Willingness to roll up his/her sleeves to get the work done or go the extra mile. Strong personal work ethic
  • Ability to efficiently troubleshoot via phone or email (i.e. calmly identifying issue, finding solutions)
  • Experience navigating multiple platforms/OS (PC, MAC, iOS, Android), web interfaces, web cameras, sound, communication and Internet connectivity issues

Candidate must possess a valid driver’s license and/or your own transportation. This role requires candidates to have a current valid work authorization to work in the United States or be Canadian or Mexican nationals eligible for NAFTA TN work authorization as a management consultant. Avasant will not sponsor any other work authorization for any candidates.
