Job Description:

The Marketing Communications Specialist supports the Molex corporate events CoE, helping to create the right experience for customers at our top corporate events globally. Position acts as support for CoE lead to work with teams to develop the right graphics and materials, ensure lead capture, etc., all within the brand identity and customer experience expectations. This is a role which demands extensive customer service and communication skills, a high level of professionalism and willingness to handle all planning and administrative details of trade shows and events. The ideal candidate must thrive in a challenging and fast-paced environment where prioritizing and multi-tasking are the norm. The candidate must be a great team member and willing to roll up their sleeves and pitch in to help their colleagues when needed. Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills are mandatory.

What You Will Do In Your Role

  • Manages logistics and deliverables for tradeshows: including but not limited to booth registration and meeting space, trade show sponsorship and client events, registration badges, managing housing, ordering trade show services, booth displays, giveaways, marketing samples and collateral, shipments and multimedia needs
  • Collaborates with exhibit warehouses to create and execute tradeshow booth renderings and manage booth shipping and receiving
  • Manages and supports multiple shows simultaneously, at various levels of planning and execution and with various divisional teams and stakeholders
  • Excellent organizational skills and production awareness.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively, especially within complex projects.
  • Assists in the onsite coordination at trade shows for load-in/load-out, setup and dismantling of the booth and related materials
  • Works with the Program Manager to assist in design, creation and distribution event-related communications and collateral
  • Monitors budgets, set-up new vendors in procurement system, set up POs and process event invoices.
  • Assists Program Manager to develop and produce post-event surveys, conduct analysis of results and experiences of key stakeholders
  • Achieves a strong understanding of our brand identity, how to use it effectively, and apply that knowledge to all assigned Molex projects to ensure deliverables are “on brand.”
  • Works within Wrike project management tool to track, monitor and report status and updates on event-related marketing projects, with marketing teams in all regions, divisions and disciplines
  • Team player with a customer-focused attitude and flexibility in an environment of tight deadlines and unexpected changes.
  • Collaboratively shares knowledge with peers and internal customers. Offers and suggests improvements in processes and guidance docs per experiences working with teams.

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Ability to proactively set priorities and manage workflow to ensure efficient, timely and accurate completion of responsibilities; ability to keep multiple projects in process simultaneously
