Job Description:

As APEX Content for Events Marketing Lead you will bring your extensive knowledge of content and event marketing models to support the vision and strategy for Dell Technologies APEX. You will be responsible for tracking and marketing and communications content across our flagship event programs. You will collaborate with stakeholders across the business—including PBUs, digital marketing, communications and sales—to traffic and deliver innovative, best-in-class content for our digital, hybrid & in-person events.

You Will

  • Be the APEX Portfolio Marketing team member who is the POC for all Tier 1 virtual and in-person internal / external events (e.g. FRS, DTW, Summits, VMworld)
  • Develop the key APEX message that will be leveraged by the PBUs and other marketing organizations across their marketing materials in support of Tier 1 events
  • Work with PBUs to develop messaging strategy, deliverables and thought leadership for key events (DTW, Summits, VMWorld, etc.)
  • Own and drive content asset creation (end to end) and management for APEX events
  • Define the success criteria, KPIs, metrics, that will be used to measure success for these Tier 1 events
  • Work with PBUs to execute post-mortem for Dell Technologies participation at events

Essential Requirements

Every Dell Technologies team member brings something unique to the table. Here’s what we are looking for with this role:

  • 8+ years of related experience in product/portfolio marketing for business-to-business IT/Tech products, with 5+ years’ experience in leading and creating portfolio/aaS content for event marketing
  • Solid communication, writing, editing, creative problem-solving and PowerPoint skills to develop compelling presentations
  • Ability to load balance competing priorities and stakeholders, multi-task and adapt quickly to meet evolving business needs
  • Proven ability to work effectively with cross- functional and global teams; will work across international time zones
  • Must have well-developed interpersonal and organizational skills; Ability to manage multiple tasks, effectively prioritize and consistently meet objectives on time and within budget; Deal with ambiguity, create clarity, inspire confidence, owns outcomes, works well in a team, and has a bias for action 

Desirable Requirements

  • BS in Marketing with tech background and a flair for producing great content
  • Previous experience in, using, or working closely with IT
  • Background digital marketing and/or event production; Special skills: Video storyboarding, copy writing, creative direction, working with agencies
