The Client Engagement & Events Marketing Manager will work directly with local leadership, bankers and other key partners to develop and implement strategic event marketing plans designed to drive meaningful client and prospect engagement. This role will assist in deepening relationships across the Southwest Segment within Middle Market Banking & Specialized Industries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver strategic programs and events that drive meaningful interactions with clients and prospects to ultimately drive growth and support business goals
  • Serve as the marketing coverage lead for MMBSI in the Southwest Segment supporting and sharing out local and national marketing & communications initiatives and programs
  • Partner across a matrix team with partners in CB Marketing, Events, Sponsorships and Communications to execute events of various scale
  • Drive coverage with end to end ownership for engaging top clients and prospects through idea generation, plan development, agenda, content, speaker sourcing and working closely with event specialists to execute logistics
  • Understand local-led engagement plans and include in holistic segment plans/budget and guide strategy support partners who are managing day-day support of local plans
  • Partner closely with colleagues across other lines of business and firm partners (i.e. Corporate and Investment Bank, Private Bank, Business Banking, Corporate Responsibility, etc.) in order to align plans for shared opportunities while ensuring market connectivity and coordination
  • Assist in various national and ad hoc projects and events in support of prospect/client engagement in order to meet the needs of the business
  • Manage and track budgets with ongoing monitoring and reporting
  • Identify key performance indicators, measure and report on the effectiveness of executed plans
  • Analyze programs for effectiveness, ROI analysis and evaluation – sharing results and pivoting programs to maximize ROI
  • Share synergies and best practices across the CB Client Engagement Team

  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience
  • Banking, financial services or management consulting experience preferred
  • Events, business management and/or project management experience preferred
  • Experience working with executive leadership and managing a heavy workload independently
  • Expertise in Excel and PowerPoint (PitchPro)
  • BA/BS degree is required
  • Requires some travel
