Job Description:
This B2B Event Coordinator will report to the Director of Brand Marketing. The primary objective of the B2B Event Coordinator will be to manage the logistics of company attended conferences and tradeshow events. You will be the primary point of contact for conferences, events, venues, and vendors to ensure all event requirements and show specifications are adhered too. This role will have the opportunity to showcase your creativity as you envision, design and execute focused programs to drive brand awareness in conferences and tradeshows.
Responsibilities (Including but not limited to):
- Identify, schedule, recommend, and oversee all conferences and events
- Assume responsibility and take ownership of the planning and execution of all events
- Precise and timely coordination of internal resources, external vendors and contractors, materials, and all other event details
- Day-to-day administration of events and programs including sponsorship opportunities, placing orders, monitoring vendors, event planning, reservations, facilitating company attendees, monitoring registration, tracking RSVPs, answering questions and resolving issues
- Oversee event registrations, invoicing, schedules of payments and events calendar
- Manage company tradeshow materials like booth and display items as well as “swag” and other necessary supplies, ensuring appropriate inventory levels, storage management, and shipping logistics to and from events
- Additional responsibilities may include: tyfone event timelines and vendor organization, track session management, speaker/keynote engagements/presentations, expo management and trade show sponsorship fulfillment
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Communications
- 3-5 Years experience in an events role
- Demonstrable experience working across all aspects event management
- A high degree of attention to detail, organization, and project management skills
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, organization, and follow-through skills
- Ability to create and manage relationships with event stakeholders, vendors
- Strong time management skills, rarely misses deadlines, and has ongoing, transparent communication with marketing and sales teams
- Strong sense of ownership/bias for action to deliver results
- Demonstrated ability to work with minimum supervision and with teams
- Analytical and creative problem-solving skills
- Travel up to 25%
