We also produce events across the US and globally to engage and activate our enthusiastic customers and prospects. Salesforce is seeking a hard-working Associate Manager to join our Digital Experience Strategy team.

As the Associate Manager, Digital Experience Strategy at Salesforce, you will support creating best-in class onsite and virtual experiences through the implementation of event technology. Working closely with other work streams within Strategic Events, you are the core representative of event priorities to the Brand Technology team. You apply strategic technologies to improve the pre-event, during event and post-event attendee journey. Your work will ensure continuous innovation and improvement through all channels: our event websites, Salesforce+, onsite mobile application and show day touch points. You will shape immersive event experiences for flagship events like Dreamforce, Connections, TrailblazerDX, Tableau Conference, and World Tours, through the piloting and improvement of new event technology features.

Responsibilities:

  • Support prioritization of new innovations and make recommendations on event technology stacks based on goals of the event.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to prioritize new technology innovations and process improvement for Strategic Events.
  • Support strategic recommendations on event technology prioritization, tailored to the unique audience needs and goals of that event.
  • Find opportunities for experience optimization across in-person event websites, Salesforce+ events and our events mobile application, and support bringing those ideas to reality.
  • Internal and external enablement of new innovations to ensure adoption and success of enhancement.
  • Create overviews and recaps of event features outlining impact of enhancements and results shared via designated channels and meetings.
  • Craft post-event debriefs on innovations and summarize success. Work with our Brand Technology teams to track the effectiveness of new features and use data to inform decisions.
  • Keep pulse on the industry and staying on top of new and novel tech that delivers the more engaging, personalized event experiences audiences today expect.

Required Qualifications:

  • Have proven ability in events management, marketing, event technology, project management or other related fields.
  • Data-driven approach and ability to story tell with analytics.
  • Deep curiosity for how things work.
  • Interest in technology’s ability to improve the attendee experience.
  • Ability to aggressively prioritize work in a fast-paced work stream
  • Strategize new ways for our teams to operate efficiently – not being afraid to try new things and suggest innovative approaches
  • Exceptional project and time management skills – highly organized, detail focused, results oriented, and accountable.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a solid ability to deal professionally with senior executives, vendors, and team members at all levels of the organization.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Basic understanding and interest in event technology architecture through multiple channels – website, onsite and mobile channels.
  • Deck-building and copy writing
