Job Description:

The AMER Studio Production Coordinator provides customer-centric intake and administrative support for the AMER Event Productions Studio team and its customers. The scope of the role primarily supports the assessment and scheduling of AMER studio customer requests. This role works cross-team, collaborating with AMER Livestream, Off Campus Productions and Large Production Venues. They are the primary point of contact with the customer, assessing studio requests ahead of approvals, managing studio intake operations, coordinating schedules, managing meetings, and collaborating alongside Studio producers and engineers. A successful candidate will be able to step seamlessly into a corporate production environment, have broad technical understanding of editing/recordings/post production/content management, demonstrate strong organizational skills, impeccable customer service, and be energetically driven to serve their customers and the team.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Primary point of contact for studio customer requests
  • Daily customer communication and management
  • Daily assessment and scheduling of customer requests
  • Manages meetings effectively; scheduling and providing supporting documentation and aligning stakeholders
  • Manages and maintains multiple booking and operational calendars
  • Collaborates and refers customers to appropriate services
  • Improves efficiencies, and works to optimize processes
  • Supports projects and studio-specific initiatives
  • Able to identify blockers, and facilitate progress; escalating appropriately
  • Weekly reporting of team related metrics and data
  • Desire to learn new technologies and stay current with industry trends

Basic Qualifications

  • 2+ years complex multi-calendar experience
  • 2+ years in a production or broadcast environment
  • 2+ years experience with editing, recordings, post-production and/or content management
  • 2+ years event planning, event management, or related production planning experience
  • 4+ years experience working with higher level executives
  • Experience managing event bookings, event sales, or event marketing campaigns
  • Experience managing high volumes of communication with accuracy
  • Demonstrated ability to manage confidential requests
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to effectively prioritize and meet competing deadlines
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications

  • 4+ years in studio or production coordination, event planning, or event sales
  • 4+ years experience event management related project management
  • 4+ years experience with editing/recording/post production/content management and livestreaming
  • Demonstrated ability to create or update operational procedures and documentation
  • Proficiency with HTML for internal web management
  • Experience managing Microsoft SharePoint or InfoPath
  • Experience using Tableau, PowerBI, or Quicksight, for data analysis
  • Coding experience with languages such as Visual Basic, SQL, or Python
